Pupil Questionnaire Results
Here are some of the results from our Year 6 Online Safety questionnaire;
Online Safety KS2
Year 6 results:
95% of children in Year 6 know how to use privacy settings when using online apps and games
7 in 10 Year 6s are using the internet for more than 2 hours a day
50% of Year 6 are using screens for more than 4 hours at the weekend each day
Over 1/4 said their parents do not know or use the privacy settings on the devices they use
Over 1/4 of pupils said that a stranger tried to make contact with them while playing games or on social media
73% of Year 6 children have access to a device with unrestricted access to the internet
In Pear Tree Mead Year 6 a staggering 99% said that they have had hurtful comments said to them, but knew to tell an adult
