Supporting Children with Type 1 Diabetes

Pear Tree Mead Academy is a ‘good diabetes care in school’ award holder.  This award is presented by diabetes UK who recognise that we deliver effective diabetes care and management.  Information was provided by the diabetic school nurse, parents and school staff in order to achieve recognition of our whole school commitment to ensuring children with diabetes feel safe and fully included  in our school.
